Another Birthday!

I had another birthday this week. I don't think it matters how old you get, birthdays can be fun. This year I got this cool tray with a picture of all six of my grandchildren sealed in a picture. It's great! One thing about being a grandparent is they are always glad to see you! Let's hope as more birthdays roll around, I can keep it that way.

Mr. Funk,
Seeing all your grandbabies smiling just for you can't help but be fun.

Best wishes from AuntyB and Grandmama on your birthday and for the year to come.

I agree with Sarah. It is fun to see all of your grandchildren in one picture! They are adorable... We have seen and heard so much of them throughout the semester. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Thank you for sharing birthday cupcakes with the class last week! I have thoroughly enjoyed taking your class this semester and found a new love of reading because of it! :)

I also just had a birthday, and it was actually my 21st! But the greatest thing about birthdays is the fact that you get to see the love of your entire family and friends! The best presents are the presents that have lots of thought and creativity put into them. I recieved a photo alblum from my grandma of 21 pictures of me growing up. And my cousins gave me 21 reasons why they love me framed. So cute and touching. I hope your birthday was as big of a blast as mine was, and thanks so much for teaching Childrens Literature! I've had a great time. I can't believe the semester is over!

Wow what a fun site!! I am so glad you gave us the opportunity to experience other aspects of your life. You have done some amazing things for Early Childhood Education. Your grandchildren are so darling. I too have also enjoyed all of the stories and pictures shown through out the semester. Thanks for all of the knowledge and the new love I have gained for reading children’s literature.

I don't know what to say. Happy birthday last Tuesday. I read about you the home page. WOW teacher of the year in utah in 1996. Good stuff. Your a busy guy. I too enjoy looking at the smiling faces of your grandkids. Kid are the greatest!!! When I play with my daughter(9months)I can't help but smile. She is the best parts of her mother and myself. I have enjoyed your class for the most part. There is one thing I would have liked, but oh well. It was fun none the less.
Hope you have a wonderful summer, play often and laugh much.

I always love birthdays, they are such a wonderful excuse to get all your friends and family together, even people you don't get to see often. There's nothing like a big birthday dinner or party to get your loved ones together. I hope your day was great!
